USC Upstate’s College of Arts, Humanities, & Social Sciences offers paid internships for students in the Humanities majors. Funded through the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, these internships provide students with exceptional opportunities to elevate their college experience and help them to unlock their career potential.
Completing an internship accelerates students’ learning, providing them with real-world application of their classroom learning, networking with local professionals, and a head start on career preparation. Students completing these internships will cultivate skills in critical thinking, communication, cultural understanding, and self-awareness. In addition, we know that students who do internships stay in college and are more likely to graduate on time.
